Chasing Success: A Beginner’s Intro to Yoga of Immortals

Success… It’s a big word.

When we chase success, what exactly are we looking for?

Have you ever asked yourself as you are waking up and getting out of bed, “What am I chasing anyway?”

Or are we looking for a wonderful career, a new fancy car, a beautiful home, a tropical vacation, money, or that meaningful relationship? Has it been drilled into us that we must feel motivated and just ‘get out there and win it’ – or is it something else entirely?

Every human being is in the pursuit of peace and happiness whether they are aware of it or not. Even the most self aware and conscious person may even forget this along the way sometimes as the daily noise and chaos dims the magic that is held within their inner child’s heart. Slowly, slowly, most everyone accepts a false ‘reality’ which has been gradually spoon fed to us by the people or media around us.

The funny thing is that even amidst having the ‘perfect’ life circumstances, this thought still creeps into our minds… “Why do I feel like something big is still missing?”

The veritable truth which many of us do not want to believe is that peace is a state of mind and it is completely within our own control. External factors do not dictate the peace and contentment we feel in life – it is completely in our own hands. The trick is knowing how to tap into that peace. Most of us have not been shown how we can create this peace of ours which is our birthright. It is everyone’s birthright to feel complete peace, harmony and happiness. Achieving peace is not an arduous journey that can only be accomplished with the successful ‘ticking off of society’s checklist’ or achieving a certain dollar amount in our bank account. Peace exists when we seek it, when the choice is made, when we decide that that is the way we want to live, and then we allow it to be created and exist within us.

Letting peace exist within us is a seemingly simple matter of looking inwardly for the answers rather than looking outside. However, sometimes it can prove to be a difficult task if we are left to our own devices. It is always nice to have help or a ‘buddy’ on the journey. The Yoga of Immortals (YOI) ancient protocols are where we can get some effective assistance on this journey if so desired. The inward journey begins. These rare YOI protocols are sourced directly from Ancient India and the Himalayan yogis and have been made accessible by the founder of Yoga of Immortals, Ishan Shivanand to fit our modern times. These Himalayan yogis and monks are masters in the knowledge, wisdom and rare powerful sadhanas which decode the secrets to happiness, health and resilience in the human body system. This is great news especially in these times!

Yoga of Immortals brings back a flow of peace to the self. It can uplift the mind, sending a new surge of energy through the body, transforming the outlook on life completely. Without even realizing it, the person practising YOI starts to feel a deep smile of contentment within. Even new ideas and talents which were dormant within the person start to emerge as the mind starts to expand on its own. The augmentation in vibrational frequency – feelings of acceptance, love and non-judgement towards self and others replacing old feelings of anxiety, fear, anger or depression – triggers a positive domino effect into all other aspects of life and suddenly, there is a wonderful new version of yourself in the mirror!

You may have seen the YOI protocols practiced at the weekly live Yoga of Immortals Meetup sessions given by global YOI Teachers.  If you have, you may wonder why so much emphasis is placed on the mind in this article, when YOI appears to be more physical in nature? This is because the powerful ancient YOI yogic practices of the Himalayan masters cannot be reduced to being dissected at only the physical level. The YOI protocols work deeply on all levels (physical, emotional and mental) to detoxify any negative emotions, accumulated stress or past traumas of the complete human system. YOI goes much deeper to the subtle forces of our self, creating in depth positive transformations that reflect in all aspects of our life.

For example, weight loss, increased physical strength and stamina are positive ‘side effects’ of YOI. More than just the aesthetics of the form, YOI revitalizes the cells, activates the immune system and detoxifies and cleanses the entire internal body mechanism. The youthfulness and energy that were once thought to be long gone, now return to the body. Like the cogs of a wheel that start working again, the body revives itself beautifully with these rare and effective YOI protocols.

Where we are now is not where we necessarily need to be for the rest of our lives. Our thoughts and behavioral patterns, our habits and our mindset create and reinforce what our experience becomes, thus setting in motion an unending cycle that we seem to become stuck in. Yet, the only constant in nature is change. Every atom of air, every cell in our body is constantly moving, constantly changing. Since the only constant in life is change and that is the truth of life, can we use YOI protocols to upgrade our whole being in a systematic way on the physical, emotional and mental levels? Yes! The YOI ancient protocols are designed to do this and have been doing this for thousands and thousands of years.

Beneficial transformation happens within us when there is a positive shift in the dynamics of our energy patterns. Practicing the YOI protocols does this automatically by creating peace, streamlining our focus and elevating the goals we set for ourselves. The inner voice or consciousness that was sometimes getting drowned out by the outer noise of ‘reality’, finds its way back home again. I believe that peace and connecting to our inner voice and source is the only thing we need in life to achieve our true purpose and achieve real success. In fact, YOI protocols really help a person get in touch with their own personal soul agenda.

In the recent scientific study of the effectiveness of YOI protocols by a global team of medical doctors (University of Cincinnati, June 2020), it has been proven that within 8 weeks of practice, YOI protocols reduced moderate to severe anxiety by 75%, reduced moderate to severe depression by 72%, normalized sleep patterns in 82% of the participants who were experiencing insomnia and increased quality of life by 77%. These are incredible proven research results!

Not only is Yoga of Immortals scientifically proven, speaking from my own experience as a practitioner of YOI, it really has the powerful potential to pick you up where you are in your life and catapult you into a  happy, peaceful and fulfilled life. Isn’t this where most of us would like to go? When direction is missing from a person’s life and there is uncertainty of where one should start, YOI can become a guiding beacon for wellness, happiness and abundance.

Positive change in our lives is definitely possible when we are willing to make a change.
